Within the framework of SDG 11, organized by the club "Local History" of the Department of Pre-university training, foreign students went on a trip to the "nomad town" along the Ile, located 120 kilometers north of the city of Almaty.
Purpose: A small medieval town gives a unique historical charm to the already picturesque Ili River valley. Since this place is a sacred place where nomads settled, the development of tourism in the country through propaganda and local history travel among the younger generation.
This city was built specifically for the filming of the movie "Nomads", which attracted the attention of viewers in 2005. Despite the fact that the city is a creation born of man, every traveler, seeing how it is enveloped in the surrounding landscape and as consonant as possible, feels like an heir to the great steppe. Now this city is often called the "castle of the nomads". Tourists flock here every year.
