The Graduates' Day was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies

On May 25, 2024, The Graduates' Day was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. According to the main organizer of this event, Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies Daulet Fatimabibi Nogaikyzy, this event was timed to the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, as well as the 30th, 20th and 10th anniversary of the graduates of the faculty. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to People's Republic of China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Nuryshev Shakhrat Shakizatuly, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Islamic Republic of Iran Onalbayev Ontalap Serikbayuly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Koishybaev Gabit Beibituly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Qatar and Bahrain Isagaliyev Arman Kairatuly,    General Director of the Islamic Organization for Food Security Aryn Berika Sakbayuly, Permanent Representative of the Republic of  Kazakhstan to the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Akkoshkarov Nurlan Sovetuly, member of the National Commission for Women, Family and Demography under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Public Chamber of the Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kozhaly Togzhan Bakytzhankyzy, Chairman of the Diplomatic Community of the Republic of Kazakhstan Narysov Serik Zhumatayuly and other graduates of the faculty - famous scientists and public figures  are  attended and delivered a welcoming speech at th3s anniversary event. The event was attended by such famous scientists and teachers who stood at the origins of the formation of Oriental studies in our country, as Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Clara Shaisultanovna Hafizova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Nurzhamal Abdrazakovna Aldabek and others. During the event, graduates presented cash rewards to their teachers. Graduates celebrating 30 years since graduation also awarded cash prizes to the 7th best students of the faculty. After the official part of the event, the faculty's guests visited the Oriental Museum and were treated to a buffet set by the Department of Chinese Studies especially for this event
