Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University strengthen cooperation

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was visited by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations of the West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Professor Kazhmurat Akhmedenov.

During the visit, a meeting was held with Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Aitzhanova Zh.N., Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences A.S. Aktymbayeva, issues of strengthening bilateral relations between universities were discussed. Agreements have been reached on interaction on a wide range of issues: joint implementation of research projects, commercialization of scientific projects in the field of Earth and Environmental Sciences, organization and conduct of joint summer schools, scientific internships for undergraduates, doctoral students and young scientists.

Next, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations of West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov Akhmedenov K.M. visited the scientific center “Sustainable Development and Environmental Management”, the Kazakh-Chinese laboratory “Remote Sensing Technology and Applications” and the scientific laboratories of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.
