The Rector met with the winners of the Young Scientist competition

Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebayev received the winners of the grant funding competition "Zhas galym".

This year 225 scientists were declared winners in the republican competition. Of these, 25 young scientists of Al-Farabi KazNU became winners of the grant funding competition "Zhas galym" for 2024-2026.
At the meeting Zhanseit Kanseitovich congratulated the young scientists with the victory.

"From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on your significant achievement. Great expectations are placed on the winners of this competition and therefore the pace of work should not be slowed down. I am sure that in the future you will work tirelessly on the path of development of national science," said the head of the university.
In his speech, the rector noted that today the state provides various social support so that scientists could freely engage in science.
"Currently, the Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev pays great attention to science. In this context, all conditions for scientists are created by the state. In 2022, KazNU named after Al-Farabi will be awarded the title of a research university. This status will give a new impetus to the further development of university science. Since KazNU is the leading institution of higher education in the country, our scientists have a special responsibility", - said the rector.

At the end of the speech, Rector Zhanseit Tuimebaev called on the winners of the competition "Zhas galym" to take an active part in public events of the university.

The participants of the meeting - young scientists, expressed their thoughts and shared their proposals for the development of university science.
