Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and World Economy Laura Tanirbergenovna Issova, completed a research internship at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin
Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and World Economy at Al-Farabi KazNU, Ph.D. in History Laura Tanirbergenovna Issova, completed a research internship at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in July 2024, funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
The mission of NOW, the Polish national agency that awards specialized scholarships, is to promote international collaboration and academic exchange to enhance the capacity of Polish science and higher education. The agency's mandate includes supporting both domestic and international scholars through the rigorous internationalization of Polish universities. As a scholar investigating the evolution of Kazakh-Polish relations, Laura Issova has been conducting extensive research in scientific institutions and archives across Poland.
During her internship at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, in addition to enhancing her professional qualifications, she continued her research at the Lublin Institute of National Remembrance and state archives, collaborating with Professor Janusz Losowski. The researcher from the National University extends her gratitude to the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Almaty and the academic community in Lublin.
