KazNU students will intern in China
Employees of Al-Farabi KazNU took part in the Chinese International Education Exhibition Jiangxi by special invitation of Beijing company in the field of international educational technologies RHIHUA.
This exhibition was dedicated to promoting high-quality development of study abroad initiatives, promoting inter-university exchange and co-operation between Chinese and foreign universities. Universities of the People's Republic of China were presented at it. A roundtable meeting was also held with the participation of the management of five universities in Almaty and Jiangxi and Nanchang provinces.
During the meeting, representatives of the universities of the two countries expressed their willingness to co-operate and emphasised the importance of mutually beneficial partnership. The parties also discussed the possibility of concluding a cooperation agreement, which involves sharing experience, resources and information to achieve common goals, as well as organising internships for Kazakhstani students in China. This is a great chance for young professionals to get acquainted with international experience, expand knowledge and improve skills abroad.
A series of press conferences and presentations were held in Jingdezhen and Nanchang, where Mei Yakun, President of Beijing PHIHUA Co.LTD, organised a meeting with representatives of a number of Chinese universities such as: Nanchang Aviation University (NCHU), Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute (JCI), Jiangxi Vocational Institute of Transport.
Representatives of the Jiangxi and Nanchang Provincial Department and the administration of educational organisations offer Kazakhstani students the opportunity to study in China under the ‘1+3’ programme: the first year will be allocated for learning the Chinese language, and the next three years for obtaining a specialty under the bachelor's degree programme.
China will provide scholarships and support for such students. At the same time, universities will credit each other and exchange students and teachers. To make the learning process easy, Chinese language courses will be opened at universities.
Within the framework of cooperation, it is proposed to create innovative laboratories for training, conduct master classes on educational programmes and implement international projects.
For the Chinese side, this co-operation is important as part of the global initiative ‘One Belt, One Road’, which unites the countries through which the historical Silk Road passed.
Student exchange with Chinese universities is a great opportunity for ambitious students who plan to work in international projects.
Representatives of the centre of exchange of scientific services of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China thanked KazNU for participation in the exhibition.
