SDG-4: A seminar was held on the topic of «Methods to prevent drug addiction»

        On September 13, a seminar on «Methods to prevent drug addiction» was held on the Zoom platform, organized by SDU psychologist and international trainer Seytkazieva Nazerke, for psychologists of higher educational institutions of our country. This online seminar was attended by «Psychological Service» and «Inclusive Environment» specialists of KazNU named after Al-Farabi and about 150 psychologists from various higher educational institutions of the country.

         During the seminar, the participants actively discussed the topic «Methods of prevention of drug addiction». At the same time, the reasons for the emergence of addiction among students, the consequences of using psychoactive drugs, ways to prevent drug addiction were discussed, as well as the directions of providing psychological support to students of this category. Specialists participating in the seminar shared psychological counseling and useful practical methods. New ideas were proposed and discussed in response to contemporary criticism.

The conference was interesting and indicated the unity of psychologists in Kazakhstan!
