Science is organized knowledge, wisdom is organized life.

From September 16 to 18, the conference "Evolutionary Equations, Approximation and Spectral Optimization" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which combined science and wisdom to discuss key scientific issues. This international event, organized jointly with the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, reflects not only scientific achievements, but also contributes to the implementation of a number of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the UN.

During the opening of the conference, the chairman of the organizing committee, dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, PhD Doszhan Nursultan Saginayuly emphasized the importance of scientific achievements in the context of global problems and expressed support for proposals to strengthen international cooperation with foreign scientists. These initiatives are directly related to SDG 17: Partnership for Sustainable Development, since the establishment of scientific contacts between countries helps to solve common challenges through joint research.

The conference topics covered important aspects of modern mathematical research, such as evolutionary equations and spectral optimization methods, which play a significant role in the development of innovative technologies and infrastructure. Discussions in this area support SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, as mathematical methods and models are widely used in the development of technological solutions for industry and scientific research.

In addition, holding such events helps improve the quality of education, which is directly related to SDG 4: Quality Education. Scientists from different countries shared their knowledge, exchanged experiences, which contributed not only to scientific progress, but also to improving the level of training of future specialists.

Representatives from Georgia, Germany, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Spain, France and the Netherlands took part in the conference along with Kazakh scientists. Establishing such international connections and exchanging experiences at the global level emphasizes the importance of international cooperation for the sustainable development of science and society.
