Important to know about gender equality

Pedagogical practice is an integral part of the higher education component within the cycle of basic disciplines. It is the primary tool through which master’s and doctoral students apply the scientific-theoretical knowledge and practical skills they have acquired in teaching.

Pedagogical practice helps students gain a deep understanding of their professional responsibilities and clarify the purpose of their work. It also allows them to develop their professional stance, refine their skills, identify areas for improvement, and achieve significant progress in self-development.

At the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, PhD students, while completing their pedagogical practice, not only conduct lessons aimed at developing professional skills but also organize educational and extracurricular activities. This practice teaches students to work collaboratively within a team and expand their perspectives through the mastery of communication psychology. During the practice, master’s students take into account the individual characteristics and preparedness of undergraduates and learn to work in accordance with the norms of pedagogical ethics.

In this context, PhD student B. Kenzheyev from the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis, and Petroleum Chemistry organized a roundtable discussion in line with Sustainable Development Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. The roundtable addressed gender equality, gender policy, and the main principles of family regulations, illustrated with clear examples and case discussions.
