Delegation of Turkish Academy visited KazNU
The delegation of the Turkish Academy visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the visit, the guests familiarised themselves with the infrastructure and educational opportunities of the university. The delegation visited key campus facilities such as Innovation Hub and Farabi Library, etc.
The KazNU Hub is a centre for start-ups, research and technological innovation. Here guests learnt about how the university supports entrepreneurial initiative among students and promotes the introduction of new technologies and ideas. Being an important part of the university's innovation ecosystem, the hub allows students and researchers to work on real projects and develop their startups.
The guests of honour then proceeded to the University Library, where they were introduced to a variety of resources, including electronic and printed materials and books, as well as unique collections. The Farabi Library is one of the largest libraries in Central Asia and has more than 2 million books in its collection.
During the visit the issues of academic cooperation, exchange of experience and possible prospects for joint projects between KazNU and Turkish Academy were discussed. The visit was an important step towards strengthening international cooperation, expanding the horizons of scientific interaction and creating platforms for knowledge exchange between scientific and educational institutions of the two countries. At the end there was a meeting of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zh.Tuimebaev with the delegation of the Turkish Academy.
