On October 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM in cabinet 214, a seminar was held, organized by the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. The seminar was conducted within the framework of a system of public events aimed at improving the environmental conditions, efficiently using natural resources, preserving and enhancing natural wealth, ensuring the harmonious interaction between nature and society. The seminar was held in the context of the implementation of the goal "SDG 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development".
The seminar featured the participation of FAO International Expert and Program Leader PhD, professor A.I.Morgunov. He is a visiting foreign lecturer at the department, giving a lecture on the subject of “Modern Problems of Population Ecology” for doctoral students.
The teachers who attended the American scientist's seminar then taught the skills of writing successful scientific projects to students, master's students, doctoral students and young scientists and disseminated the knowledge they had gained among a wide audience.
It was led by the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor M.S.Kurmanbayeva. Department heads, faculty members, and students (master's and doctoral students) also attended the event.
