SDG-4: Students watched the play «Тойы көп ұй» in the theater
On October 2, Bakkozha Mukai's play «A house with many Weddings» captivated audiences at the Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Adolescents named after Gabit Musirepov. Among the attendees were students from the Faculty of Journalism at our university, who went to experience this remarkable performance.
The play, which evoked both laughter and tears, offers a vivid reflection of modern society. It weaves together the lives of characters with starkly different fates, creating a powerful narrative that intertwines themes of kindness, corruption, and betrayal. One of the most striking moments is the anguished cry of a character railing against injustice: «Those who break the law are the ones who know it best.» This line underscores the deep frustrations within the play, offering a commentary on societal contradictions.
Through its portrayal of intertwined destinies, «A house with many Weddings» delivers a strong moral message, urging humanity to remain committed to doing good, no matter the circumstances. The students who attended the performance left deeply moved, engaging in thoughtful discussions and sharing their impressions long after the final curtain fell.
