Language is the soul of a nation

       On October 15. 2024 in the auditorium 317 PhD Associate Professor Karasheva Zh.T. Karasheva Zh.T. held a lecture-discussion with the 310 group on the topic "Language is the soul of the nation". The purpose of the meeting was not only to familiarize students with the importance of the state language, but also to create a platform for discussing the role of language in shaping national culture. Advisor Karasheva Zh.T. highlighted the following tasks:

            1. To analyze the role of language as a unifying factor of the nation and shaping national identity.

            2. To show the importance of language in preserving culture and traditions.

            3. To develop students' respect for language and critical thinking about its role in society.

Several key topics were touched upon during the discussion:

            1. The place of the state language: The importance of the Kazakh language in the political, cultural and social life of the country is emphasized. He was described as the foundation of national unity and the spiritual support of the people.

            2. Language and culture: It was noted that the national language is an important component of culture. The traditions, history and customs of the people are transmitted through language from generation to generation.

            3. Language development: The development of the Kazakh language in accordance with modern requirements, its role in the international arena and in society were discussed. The role of digital technologies in ensuring the multidimensional use of language was also mentioned.

            4. Language and personality formation: Language has a huge impact on a person's personal and spiritual development. It shapes the worldview and attitude towards national values.

Students actively participated in the discussion, expressing their thoughts on how to strengthen the role of the Kazakh language in society. Special attention was paid to the influence of language policy on young people and the expansion of the use of the Kazakh language.

The discussion on the topic "Language is the soul of the nation" was an important step in students' awareness of their responsibility for culture and language. This contributes to the formation of an active civic position among the younger generation in matters of preserving and strengthening national identity.

Karasheva Zh.T. noted that such meetings will continue in the future, stressing the importance of each student respecting their native language and understanding its role in society more deeply.
