SDG-4: Students and curators of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences visited the theater.
On October 23, students and curators of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences visited the Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth named after G.Musrepov on the day of the Republic, watched the dramatic play «The Smell of wormwood», had great pleasure in spiritual and aesthetic terms.
«The smell of wormwood» is a stage play that realistically reflects the post–war life of the people and the life of the Kazakh village.
The work depicts events that occurred during a certain period of the life of a teenage boy named Ayan. His father died in the war, his mother is gone, his grandmother is died, and after the war he waited for his brother, because his soul was wounded. That is, when the children went outside the village and waited for adults in the war, none of their loved ones returned, and only the smell of wormwood grass, which came in the wind, was felt in their noses……
During the performance, the actors of the theater performed brilliantly, raising the level of spiritual and moral culture of the students and directing them to form a true attitude to the realities of life, which made a great impression on the students.
The senior curator-adviser of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences A.M. Alimbai was responsible for the event.
