«Customs control: forms and features» on the occasion of the Republic Day on October 25 held a scientific seminar

          On 21.10.2024, Associate Professor of the Department of «Customs, Finance and Environmental Law» of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, candidate of legal sciences Kuandykov Kaldarbek Zhunisbayuly with students of the 1st year, group 122 on the topic «Customs control: forms and features» on the occasion of the Republic Day on October 25 held a scientific seminar the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Customs control is a set of measures and actions carried out by customs authorities aimed at ensuring and checking compliance with the customs legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
          The main purpose of customs control is to determine compliance of operations and activities in the field of customs affairs carried out by participants in customs-legal relations with the requirements of customs legislation, as well as to identify, suppress and prevent violations in the field of customs affairs with the help of various inspections. During the conduct of customs control, customs bodies rely on the principle of selection of objects of customs control, forms of customs control and measures ensuring customs control. A risk management system is used when choosing objects of customs control, objects of customs control and measures to ensure the conduct of customs control. This means that the electronic system determines the object of customs control and the object of customs control independently. During the scientific seminar, students shared their thoughts and opinions.
