Plastic pollution is a significant issue facing the modern world. However, each of us can contribute to finding solutions. As part of Sustainable Development Goal #12, which focuses on ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, we successfully organized the "Collect Plastic Bottles" campaign".
The primary objective of this campaign was to raise awareness about the issue of plastic pollution, support the development of recycling infrastructure, and educate society on responsible waste management practices.
During the campaign, we established collection bins for plastic bottles at key locations within the faculty, engaged volunteers, and facilitated the recycling of the collected bottles.
The campaign proved to be highly effective. A total of 500 plastic bottles were collected, each of which was sent for recycling. Thirty students participated in the event. This initiative demonstrates that each of us can make a significant contribution to the protection of our planet.
