Participation in the QS Higher Education Pre-Summit: Asia Pacific 2024

On November 1, a pre-summit called QS Higher Education: Asia Pacific 2024 was held in Al-Farabi KazNU. This event was organized to discuss current changes in higher education and innovations that can be introduced in the learning process. This event was attended by many representatives from various leading universities of the world and universities of Kazakhstan. 
During the pre-summit the participants had an opportunity to get acquainted and discuss various issues in the field of education.
Doctor of Law, Professor Suleimenova S.J. and Associate Professor Nurakhmetova G.G. of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Process, Labor Law, met with one of the main organizers of the pre-summit, the leading consultant of QS, Dr. Shadi Hijazi and the coordinator of consulting projects, Dara Bukhtoyarova. The QS representatives gave valuable advice on universities and where to go from here. In addition, they discussed the issues of mutual cooperation and establishing ties in the field of law with other universities, regarding the programs of double degree education and academic mobility.


There was also an active conversation with representatives of the Indonesian University Universitas Negeri Malang. The guests of the event, in particular Dr. Evi Eliyanah, shared how the Faculty of Law is developing in their university and what are the opportunities for joint work, future cooperation. 
In addition to representatives of foreign universities, our teachers exchanged contacts with the Vice-Rectors of AMU and KazNMU named after Asfendiyarov, Vitaly Koikov and Zhanna Kalmataeva. Taking into account the presence of medical law disciplines in these universities, the participants of the event discussed issues of joint development and common potential, which will help to achieve new heights in the field of education.
At the end of the pre-summit, many new and useful connections were formed and conclusions were drawn for further work of the department.
