As part of the study and promotion of Sustainable Development Goals, teachers of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education carry out extensive educational work with students of the faculty. This aspect of education corresponds to the direction of the SDGs, such as "Quality education". In addition to classroom work, teachers spend a lot of time with their students, since our students come to study in Kazakhstan from various countries and, of course, do not know anything about the history of the country and its development features. Taking advantage of the excellent Indian Summer weather conditions in the Southern Capital, the advisors of the PG-9 and 12 groups took a walk around the city of Almaty. On Saturday, after classes, students and their teachers decided to walk along the central streets of Almaty and learn more about the city, about the history of the streets, about the famous buildings of the city – architectural monuments. The teachers told the Chinese students about the famous buildings of the Republican State Academic Theaters – the Uighur and Korean Musical Comedy Theaters (the Kuddus Kuzhamyarov Uighur Musical Comedy Theater is the only Uighur theater in the world), what is famous for Gymnasium No. 25 named after I. Yesenberlin (formerly secondary school No. 25 named after F. Dzerzhinsky) – our president K.K.Tokayev graduated from this school, they told about the feat of 28 Panfilov Guards who defended their country and did not let the Nazis pass, showed the Ascension Cathedral and also told about the history of its creation. The students were very interested in everything, they learned a lot of new and useful things about the history of the Southern capital – the city of Almaty. Which means they've already fallen in love with him. Senior teachers of the Department of Foreign Language Training Turebekova R.S. and Mamytbekova L.K.
