Doctoral and master's students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Almaty Museum

On 9th November 2024, master's and doctoral students specialising in "Religious Studies" and "Islamic Studies" from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Almaty Museum.

The event was led by K.M. Bishmanov, c.j.s,  professor at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and also by N. Zhetpisbai, a first-year doctoral student.

During the excursion, the participants became acquainted with the museum’s rich historical and cultural heritage and viewed key exhibits related to the history of Kazakhstan, world culture, and religions. The historical and ethnographic items held by the museum provided the researchers with new ideas and valuable scientific information for their ongoing academic work.

Professor K.M. Bishmanov, during the tour, explained the historical and religious significance of each exhibit and discussed its role in scientific research. This event proved to be a unique experience for the future researchers in the fields of religious studies and Islamic studies. The museum exhibits sparked the participants' interest in new research topics and enhanced their academic curiosity.
