An interview with the students of the pre-university preparation department was conducted on the topic of eradicating poverty. The participants discussed the global poverty situation and shared their opinions. The event was organized by Senior Lecturer S. Sagnaikyzy.

The eradication of poverty is a global goal that requires a comprehensive approach, taking into account historical, social, and economic aspects. At the pre-university preparation department of Al-Farabi KazNU, professors organize various events focused on how different societies have addressed poverty throughout history. These events include historical examples, ranging from ancient civilizations to modern strategies for combating poverty.

Many of the department’s subjects include an analysis of the causes of poverty, such as economic inequality, lack of access to education, and social services. In these courses, students explore how historical events, such as wars and economic crises, have worsened the situation of poverty. Successful examples, such as social programs in different countries, are also discussed, which have helped reduce poverty and improve the lives of millions of people.

It is important for the students to realize that solving the poverty problem is not only about economic development but also about social justice and access to quality education. The task of professors is to inspire them to actively participate in these processes and be advocates for change in their communities. By discussing various approaches to poverty eradication, the importance of individual contributions to building a more just and sustainable society is emphasized.
