Intellectual competition "Reading Club"

On November 14, 2024, within the framework of the Reading Club project, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals SDG-4 “Quality education” and SDG-8 “Decent work and economic growth”, a highly intellectual competition was held. Event was organized among 2nd-year students of High School of Economics and Business. It was  aimed to support high quality level ofeducation.

The mission of the project is to improve the reading culture among young people, as well asintroduce them to forign, domestic and business literature, interesting facts in various fields of society life, as well as improve the level of education and culture. The peculiarity of the competition format is interactive quizzes, puzzles, excerpts and captains' competition. They were composed on world and Kazakh as well as business literature.  Proverbs, Kazakh tunes, museums and the world of cinema were in focus of participants.

Student’s teams from 4 faculty’s departments competed. They shared their knowledge on varies spheres. The winners were awarded by books, cash prizes and certificates.

Project Manager - Taszharganov S.I., senior lecturer of Management Department. The organizers of the competition were 3rd year students of the Management Department.

Supporting the sustainable development goals, this project help to expand students' thinking and improve their cognitive abilities!
