Guest lecture on the topic: "Legal education"

As part of the implementation of SDG №16 "Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions" on 26 November 2024, the Department of Civil Law and Civil Process, Labour Law, for students of the 209 group was organised a guest lecture on the theme: "Legal Education" with Aliyev Altynbai Kaldanovich Aliyev, district inspector of the local police department, police department of Zhetysu district of Almaty.
During the event, district inspector Aliyev Altynbai Kaldanovich told the students about the importance of legal education in modern society. He explained in detail the main provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at ensuring law and order, protection of citizens' rights and prevention of offences.
Special attention was paid to the prevention of offences among young people, responsibility for unlawful acts, as well as the need to improve legal literacy. The policeman shared practical examples from his professional activity, which aroused the students' interest and helped them to better understand the consequences of breaking the law.
The students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions concerning the rights and duties of citizens, as well as the procedure of interaction with law enforcement agencies.
Such meetings help students to develop a respectful attitude towards the law, increase their civic responsibility and realise the importance of legal awareness.
