In line with the 4th Sustainable Development Goal "Quality Education," the 8th Goal "Decent Work and Economic Growth," and the 17th Goal "Partnerships for Sustainable Development," the Department of "Art Management and Producing" of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov organized a guest lecture on the discipline "Basics of Financial Literacy" on November 28, 2024 (responsible organizers: Yermek Zhanatayuly Skakov — Head of the Department for Social and Educational Work and Youth Policy, lecturer of the Department of "Art Management and Producing," Master’s degree holder; Anar Kuangaliyevna Moldasheva — Head of the Department of "Art Management and Producing," Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor).
Invited guest: Galymzhan Eskarauly Kerimbek — Head of the Department of "Finance and Accounting" of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor.
During the meeting, students and faculty were provided with detailed information about the importance of financial literacy and its role in the modern educational process. The participants actively asked questions of interest and received comprehensive answers. We believe that this event will have a significant impact on the level of financial knowledge among students and faculty members working in the field of arts.
