SDG-4. Gathering of pupils of media schools dedicated to eco-culture

Open Days were held at the Faculty of Journalism as part of the gathering of pupils of the media schools of Almaty "Education for sustainable development: journalism and PR".

The teaching staff of the UNESCO Department of Journalism and Communication met today's schoolchildren - future specialists in the field of information, creativity and real talents and held training seminars and familiarized pupils with the peculiarities of being an international journalist and PR specialist.

In addition, in the period from November 20 to December 2, a creative competition "Journalist of the Future!" was organized and pupils wrote an essay on the topic "Eco-initiative: what can I do to improve the environment?" and they told about the best examples from their lives about their contribution to the eco-culture of the city.

At the end of the meeting, the winners of the competition were awarded and all pupils who took part in the event were awarded certificates.
