Coming from America, learned the kazakh language

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with foreign students.
Chloe Edgington and Erol Alkan speak kazakh fluently. They came from the USA under the special Flagship program to study at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
In 2020, Chloe Edgington enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began studying the kazakh language. Today, Chloe works at the Faculty of Philology of KazNU and teaches foreign students who arrived under the Flagship program. In addition to kazakh, she speaks four languages fluently.
And Erol Algan is a student at Indiana University in the United States. He is currently continuing his 4th year of studies at KazNU. Erol Algan is fluent in Turkish, Kazakh, Russian, and English.
At a meeting, KazNU Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev expressed his gratitude to the foreign students and noted that favorable conditions have been created in Kazakhstan for young people interested in language studies. In his speech, the rector encouraged students to actively participate in the university's social and cultural events.
During the conversation, Chloe Edgington and Erol Algan shared details about themselves and their future plans. They expressed gratitude to the management and professors of the higher educational institution for their significant contribution to the further development of the kazakh language.
At the end of the meeting, rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev presented the students with a kazakh-english dictionary and a collection of common words for turkic languages.
