SDG-4: Our students watched the musical comedy «Aiman-Sholpan»

On November 30th, the musical comedy «Aiman-Sholpan» was presented at the Alatau Theatre, which was enjoyed by the students of our university as well.
Ayman and Sholpan are the spoiled daughters of the rich man Maman. When their father decided to marry them off, every man around, fascinated by the beauty of the two girls, showed a strong desire to marry them. Each one eagerly enters the «battle for love», which eventually leads to a conflict.
The performance featured numerous group scenes and folk songs, reflecting clear examples of our traditional art. In the period of the revival of our national spirit, the performance, designed in the spirit of folk customs, displayed light humor, love conflicts, the characters' personalities, and the connection of events with light musical tunes. Additionally, the director enriched the production by incorporating folk songs, the tradition of aitys (poetic duels), national games, and dance movements.
Based on the folk tale «Aiman-Sholpan» this musical comedy brought a pleasant mood to the audience. The characters on stage, with their beautiful melodies, national costumes, and humorous antics, won the admiration of the audience.
