Kazakhstan and Iran: New Horizons of Scientific Cooperation
From November 27 to December 2, 2024, within the framework of "SDG 4: Quality Education", Professor Zubaida Shadkam, Director of the Scientific Research Center for "Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage" at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, visited Tehran (Islamic Republic of Iran) to conduct significant scientific research.
An international conference titled "The First Scientific Dialogue Between Scholars of the Nowruz Cultural Region and the Ibero-American World" was held at Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU), one of Iran's most prestigious and largest universities. The conference brought together scholars from Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Professor Z. Shadkam delivered a presentation on the topic “The Role of the Nowruz Holiday in the Unity and Cohesion of the People of Kazakhstan.”
During the conference, ATU Vice-Rector for Science, Mrs. M. Tisheyar, expressed a keen interest in strengthening Kazakh-Iranian scientific collaboration. She emphasized the willingness of ATU’s scholars and resources to engage in joint scientific research.
