Field Course for Psychologists in Aktobe
The Institute for Advanced Training and Additional Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University conducted an 80-hour professional development course for secondary education staff in the city of Aktobe, titled "Developing Skills for Building Nonviolent Relationships."
Course Objective:
To equip secondary education staff with modern methods and approaches for preventing suicidal behavior, violence, and conflict situations among students. To enhance the ability to address social and psychological issues in the educational process by developing skills for effectively organizing psychological support and fostering positive relationships within teaching teams.
The course covered strategies for identifying and preventing violence and creating a safe environment among students and parents. Participants were introduced to methodologies for cultivating a culture of positive communication.
Upon completion, participants received certificates of the established format. The educational programs for teacher professional development courses are approved in accordance with Clause 6 of the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 95 dated January 28, 2016, and Order No. 175 dated May 4, 2020.
