KazNU teachers and staff were awarded the state award

At the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, professors, teachers, and staff of the university who made significant contributions to the socio-economic development of the country and scientific activity were awarded by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The awards were presented by State Counsellor  of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Karin.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the Board and Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was awarded the "Barys" Order of the first degree. In the same category, the Order of "Barys" II degree was awarded to the outstanding work of Doctor of Philology, Professor Eleonora Suleimenova.

Doctor of Historical Sciences Madiyar Eleuov and Doctor of Biological Sciences Sabir Nurtazin were also awarded the "Parasat" Order. This award is given to government and public servants, as well as scientists and cultural figures for their active work in protecting human rights and social interests, as well as for their personal contribution to the development of the spiritual and intellectual potential of the Republic.

Sultan Tuleukhanov, Doctor of Biology, Madi Baydauletov, Candidate of Economics, Bayan Zholdasbekova, Doctor of Physico-Technical Sciences Saltanat Bolegenova, Candidate of Chemical sciences Alina Galeeva and Candidate of Geographical sciences Aliya Aktymbaeva were awarded the "Qurmet" Order for their services to the development of the economy, social sphere, science and culture.

The honorary title "Honored worker of Kazakhstan" was awarded to the Director of the Department of Information and Communication, Press Secretary of KazNU Kanshaim Baydauletova for her outstanding services to the Republic.

State Advisor Erlan Karin also presented the "Eren enbegi ushin" medal to the Head of the Commercialization Office Almas Gauhar, Professor and PhD Doctor Zhanar Zhenis, Candidate of Physical and mathematical sciences Madina Mansurova, and Candidate of Legal sciences Karlygash Useinova for their labor achievements in the economy, social sector, science, culture, and public service.

The "Shapagat" medal was awarded to the director of the Social and Educational Department, Zhuldyz Yessimova.
