Top managers of Turkish hotels shared their experience
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a lecture and a meeting with the heads of prestigious hotel chains in Turkey, organized by the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism.
The event was attended by top managers from well-known Turkish hotels: Tuna Nural, Operations Manager at Papillon Zeugma Relaxury Hotel, Gürbüz Pusatlı, Head of Internal Audit at Ethno Hotels and Adalya Hotels, Süreyya Ertuğrul, General Manager at Titanic Hotels, as well as faculty members and students from the Department of Geography and Environmental Management.
The managers of Turkish hotels shared their extensive experience, management strategies, and methods for providing high-level services. Participants discussed key trends in the hospitality industry and ways to improve customer service quality. The speakers also talked about innovative technologies in the hotel business, sustainable development, and environmental initiatives. They presented insights into managing international teams and cultural diversity.
The lecture was held as part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals: Goal №4 – "Quality Education" and Goal №8 – "Decent Work and Economic Growth"
The meeting is aimed at increasing the employment rate of graduates and students from the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management. Additionally, the event aligns with the key points of the message from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, focused on developing human capital, improving the quality of education, and supporting innovations.
