"Legal culture and youth: crime prevention"

On February 26, 2025, the Department of Business Technology of the Higher School of Economics and Business organized an event for students of 1-3 courses on the topic "Prevention of offenses and crimes among minors, university students."  The event was attended by: Dyusembayev, Sergeant Kudaibergenovich, Head of the OKP of the Bostandyk district Police Department, Major of Police, Laura BolatzhanovnaAbisheva– Senior Officer of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Bostandyk district Police Department, Major of Police, Anna Alexandrovna Trubnikova– psychiatrist and narcologist.

The speakers spoke in detail about offenses among young people, the causes of their occurrence and preventive measures. The legal consequences of illegal actions and the impact of harmful habits on students' lives were also discussed. The participants of the event received answers to relevant questions regarding legal literacy and personal safety. The event helped to raise awareness among students and minors about the need to comply with the law, form a responsible attitude towards their actions and realize the importance of crime prevention among young people.

The event is directly related to the objectives of SDG 3 on combating drug addiction, promoting a healthy lifestyle and ensuring the safety of society. 

The organizers are the teaching staff of the Department of Business Technology.
