An agreement was signed with the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute
The Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, met with the Rector of the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz, Kuandyk Kadirov.
During the negotiations, the parties signed a bilateral cooperation agreement. Under the memorandum, the two universities will exchange faculty and students, conduct scientific work, and implement joint projects in the field of philology.
During the meeting, Zhanseit Tuimebayev congratulated Kuandyk Kadirov on his appointment as the Rector of the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute and wished him success in his endeavors to develop the educational institution.
"I believe that the agreement signed today will serve as the foundation for further deepening bilateral cooperation. The great potential of both universities contributes to this. In the future, I propose opening a branch of KazNU based at the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute. This, in turn, will contribute to the joint development of science and higher education", - said Zhanseit Tuimebayev.
In turn, Kuandyk Kadirov expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the university's leadership and staff and shared information about the institute.
"The Nukus State Pedagogical Institute was founded in 1934. Last year, we celebrated the 90th anniversary of the institute. Currently, more than 17,000 students are enrolled at the university. Lectures are conducted in 5 languages. In the future, we will pay special attention to the development of our partnership with KazNU. In this context, we are always ready to open a branch and scientific centers of KazNU named after Al-Farabi at our institute. Additionally, in April, we plan to hold an international conference dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev. I invite the faculty and scientists of KazNU to participate", - said Kuandyk Kadirov.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to systematically implement the proposed initiatives and, for this purpose, to establish a special working group.
