«Seasonal Burnout: How to Cope and Maintain Energy»

On April 15, 2025, an educational event on the topic: “Seasonal Burnout: How to Cope and Maintain Energy” was held with the students. The event was held by Yesenbekova Zh.A., the first-year master's degree student majoring in "7M02309 - Literary Studies", under the guidance of the senior lecturers of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, G.Zh. Bolatova, associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Education Management, candidate of pedagogical sciences B.I. Imanbekova, as well as an acting professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, candidate of psychological sciences N.S. Zhubanazarova.
The event was cconducted within framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goal №3: “Good Health and Well-being.” The main goal of the session was to increase the students’ awareness of the causes, signs, and prevention of seasonal emotional burnout. The event was held in an interactive format. The students were introduced to the key signs of seasonal burnout, its physiological and psychological causes. A short thematic video was shown, followed by a guided meditation aimed at relaxation and restoring inner balance. In addition, a series of blitz-surveys were conducted, where the students shared their personal experiences, discussed signs of fatigue they face, and talked about their individual coping mechanisms. The discussion took place in a warm and open atmosphere. The students actively participated and expressed their opinions freely. 5he event with practical tips such as sleep hygiene, balanced nutrition, physical activity, and psychological self-care techniques. The event contributed to fostering the students' responsibility toward their mental health and emotional well-being.
