
On April 16, 2025, within the framework of SDG 4: "Quality Education" a demonstration lecture on the topic: "Adverb. The History of the Formation and Study of Adverbs" and a demonstration seminar on the topic: "Semantic Groups of Adverbs" were held within the framework of "Morphology of the Kazakh Language" course at the university. This event was organized by senior lecturers from A. Baitursynov Department of Kazakh Language Studies at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: PhD in Philology Zh.B. Satkenova, Doctor of Philology G.Zh. Bolatova, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences B.I. Imanbekova, and Associate Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, PhD in Psychology N.S. Zhubanazarova, and the 1st-year master's degree student of "Kazakh Language and Literature" major U.I. Galpai.
This lecture and seminar not only increased the students' interest in the subject but also provided a great opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the semantic groups of adverbs. In the lecture, the teacher skillfully combined traditional teaching methods with modern educational technologies, using multimedia materials and interactive tasks to share new and meaningful information.
In the seminar, the students analyzed the works of scholars who studied adverbs and effectively utilized platforms such as group work, presentations, Quizz, and WordWall. The dialogue between the teacher and the students, free exchange of ideas, and the development of creative approaches were the main features of the seminar.
At the end of the lesson, the students emphasized the importance of researching adverbs and the relevance of scholars' viewpoints on the subject. The students' activity, responsibility, and creative search clearly reflected the high education standard.
The lecture and the seminar were a significant step in mastering the national literary heritage using modern methods, aligned with SDG 4 and aimed at providing quality education.
