October 1st — the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan!

On October 1, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan was celebrated. A special event with students was organized to honor the faculty’s honorary professors. Students left their best wishes for the professors on the alumni board.
The event was attended by the faculty’s honorary professors – Zhubatova Bayan Nursultanqyzy, Aldabek Nurzhamal Abdirazakqyzy, Nadirova Gulnar Ermuratqyzy, Mukametkhanuly Nabizhan, Zhumazhanova Farida Tokankyzy, Seitmetova Janetta Raimbekovna, Iskakova Zaure Erenqyzy, and Kalieva Shynar Sayakhatqyzy – whose contributions to education were recognized.
During the event, students expressed sincere respect to the honorary professors and discussed the faculty’s achievements in education and science. This event not only honored the honorary professors but also served as an example for students and young professionals and helped preserve faculty traditions.
Additionally, Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences Aldabek Nurzhamal Abdirazakqyzy, delivered a lecture on leadership to the students. The lecture highlighted the contributions of Professor and scholar Absattar Derbisel, founder of the Arabic Language Department, as well as the history of the faculty.
