SDG 4,16:Financial Literacy – Foundation of a Successful Future

At the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, awareness activities were held to enhance students’ financial literacy. Specialists from Otbasу Bank JSC took part in the event, providing students with comprehensive information on key issues in the field of finance.

During the awareness sessions, students were introduced to effective methods of managing personal finances, the importance of income planning and a culture of savings. They also learned about investment opportunities, the advantages of government programs, and received practical advice on the safe use of banking services.

Students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science had the opportunity to ask their questions and obtained valuable information on opening savings accounts and managing their funds efficiently. Experts emphasized that financial literacy plays a crucial role in ensuring young people’s future stability, their ability to make responsible decisions, and their professional growth.

These awareness activities contributed to the formation of students’ financial culture, strengthened their knowledge of key financial concepts and skills, and helped them build a conscious and confident outlook for the future.
