Students of the Department of the Far East shared their experience of studying in Japan

On October 3, 2025, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi kaznu, students of the Department of Japanese Studies shared their impressions and experience in the framework of academic mobility. The meeting was attended by teachers and students of the Department of the Far East.

During the meeting, students who studied at the Tokyo University of International Studies, Tsukuba, Waseda, Osaka, Saitama, Sofia and Tokyo universities talked about their experience of studying abroad, adapting to a new environment, getting acquainted with culture.

The meeting was held not only in conversation, but also in a free question and answer format. The participants exchanged views on such topics as the educational process, life and communication with Japanese students.

The main purpose of this meeting was to provide useful advice to students who want to participate in the academic mobility program in the future on the basis of real experience, as well as to strengthen friendly ties between Kazakh and Japanese youth.
