THE FACULTY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES WILL HOST A BOOK PRESENTATION IN HONOR OF TAJIK LANGUAGE DAY

On October 7, 2025, as part of the celebratory event "The State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan," the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi KazNU will host a presentation of the book "Literary Crossroads and Contacts Common to the Persian, Tajik, and Kazakh Peoples" by Kydyr Torali Edilbayuly, Director of the Institute of Islamic Studies at the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan. The book was published by government commission as part of the strategic partnership "Studying the Works of Kazakh Writers in the Archives of the CIS Countries."

The purpose of the presentation:

• To develop and strengthen cultural and scientific ties between the Tajik, Kazakh, and Iranian peoples;

• To open up opportunities for joint research into the shared medieval literary space of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Iran;

• To introduce a new book to a wide range of readers – lovers of Eastern poetry.
