On October 4, 2025, students from the History Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Gabit Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth and watched the dramatic play «The Childhood that did not exist».
This cultural event was organized with the aim of broadening the spiritual outlook of future professionals and enhancing their aesthetic education. The play is distinguished by its deep content, which influences the feelings and consciousness of teenagers and young people. Addressing complex social issues, the production vividly and sincerely conveyed to the audience the hardships of childhood and the spirit of struggle.
«The Childhood that did not exist» is a dramatic work that reveals pressing social problems through the fate of a hero deprived of a carefree childhood and enduring severe trials of fate. During the performance, the students were impressed by the actors’ masterful performances and deeply moved by every moment on stage.
The students of the History Faculty were particularly affected by this event and once again realized the educational and cognitive significance of theatrical art. Visiting the theater undoubtedly plays a significant role in fostering moral qualities, empathy, and responsibility among young people.
Such cultural events are an important platform for the harmonious combination of education and upbringing. Knowledge within the university walls is not limited to theory but is deepened through such spiritual experiences.
