Traditional Kenjali readings were held
The international scientific and practical conference "Global Communication: National information model of civilizational development and Artificial Intelligence", dedicated to the World Science Day for Peace and Development, as well as the IV traditional Kenjali readings, was held at the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The purpose of the event is to discuss trends in the development of national information policy and communication in the era of globalization, as well as the role of artificial intelligence in the media and public life.

The conference was attended by the university's leadership, domestic and foreign scientists, public figures, experts in the field of media and artificial intelligence, as well as students.
In his welcoming speech, Vice–rector for Social Development Bakhytzhan Omarov noted: "Kenzhali Readings is a unique school that educates the younger generation in the spirit of professional responsibility, national identity and a culture of objective dissemination of information. This is the point of contact between science and journalism".

He also highlighted the significant contribution of the outstanding researcher, public figure and publicist Zh.Kenzhalin's contribution to the development of the national information space.
Professor Namazaly Omashev also spoke: "The name Zhumabek Kenzhalin in the history of Kazakh journalism is a symbol of honesty and responsibility. He was a man who felt the weight of every word, both as an editor and as a scientist. Zh.Kenzhalin considered journalism as a high platform of service to the people. His works remain an example for young journalists".


During the conference, the participants discussed the national peculiarities of information policy, the transformation of media culture, the development of digital journalism and the ethical aspects of the use of artificial intelligence. Special attention was paid to the issues of human responsibility, the reliability of information, the importance of media literacy, as well as the formation of national identity in the global information space.
