During the event, students were informed that responsibility in social media is the duty of every user. Active participation in the online environment implies not only freedom of expression but also a high level of responsibility.
The curator session covered the following issues:
- the advantages and potential risks of using social media;
- the role of social networks as platforms for exchanging opinions and information;
- issues of ethics and cultural norms of behavior in the digital environment;
- methods of effective information use and adherence to the principles of digital hygiene.
Special attention was paid to the importance of observing the principles of humanity, honesty, and ethical conduct among users. It was emphasized that publishing information without prior verification and critical evaluation is unacceptable.
Thus, proper and responsible use of social media contributes to protecting the safety and reputation of both the user and others. The combination of freedom and responsibility is regarded as a necessary requirement of modern digital society.
