Third-year students, as part of the course “Psychology of Tourism Activity”, visited one of the major tour operators in Almaty — Pegas Touristik.

During the visit, the students learned about the specifics of the work of a large tour operator, observed how managers interact with clients, and saw the psychological methods used during tourist consultations.

Representatives of the company provided detailed information about the structure of the sales department, the algorithm for selecting tours, the system for processing customer requests, communication techniques with various types of tourists, and methods for building customer loyalty. Special attention was given to professional communication, conflict management, and the importance of psychological competence in the tourism sector.

The visit allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with real practice, gain a deeper understanding of tour operator activities, and strengthen their skills in analyzing tourist behavior in different service situations.
