Student of KazNU won a silver medal at the Asian Championship

Student of Al-Farabi KazNU Arina Altukhova took 2nd place at the XV Asian Shooting Championship, which is held in Changwon (South Korea).

Arina Altukhova, a well-known sportswoman and member of the national team of Kazakhstan, is a 3rd year student of the Medical Faculty of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, specializing in physical education and sport.

At the 15th Asian Shooting Championship Arina showed the second result at a distance of 50 meters from the "lying down" position and won a silver medal.

The team of Kazakhstan's national shooting team, which included Arina Altukhova, took the 3rd place at 50 meters from the "lying down" position.

Competitions are held from October 22 to November 2, 2023 at the shooting range Changwon (South Korea).

This is a qualifying tournament for the Summer Olympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024.
