Language as a connecting bridge between peoples
A round table on the topic "Language as a connecting bridge between peoples" was held at the Faculty of History.The organizer was associate professor of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies Raykhan Onalbayevna Sadykova. The main purpose of this event is to motivate students to learn foreign languages and indicate the main ways to achieve. The round table was also necessary to strengthen cooperation between different peoples and nations, establish contacts with foreign students, undergraduates and doctoral students. In this regard, the 2nd year doctoral student Martin Konyak and a foreign student Daria Lysenko were invited as guests.
The round table covered topics such as the importance of the English language in the world and the importance of language knowledge. Zarina Tukayeva, a first-year student of the Faculty of History, made a presentation about how she learned English and how she achieved high results in the ILETS exam, shared her experience. Those present asked them a question.
Foreign students Martin Kanyaka and Daria Lysenko also told how they achieved such results in English and what wide opportunities their knowledge of the language in the scientific and educational sphere opened up to them.
This round table was useful for everyone. In conclusion, it was noted. That it is necessary to improve the knowledge of the language and pay considerable attention to its study.
