Role of Digital Technologies in Achieving SDG 4: Access to Quality Education for All

Dosmukhamedov, PhD in Economics, Professor Sabirova Rysty Kuandykovna met with 4th-year students of OP 6B04103-Economics and held a leadership lecture on the topic "The Role of Digital Technologies in Achieving SDG 4: Access to Quality Education for All. Rysty Kuandykovna is improving her qualifications at the Institute for Advanced Studies and Continuing Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the course "Firm Economics and Economic Security in the Digital Economy".
Digital technologies are changing all aspects of education, making it accessible, flexible and inclusive. One of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 4, plays an important role in ensuring access to quality education for all. 1) Development of online education platforms. Platforms such as Coursera, Khan Academy, Bilimland expand educational resources beyond geographic boundaries and empower students in rural and remote areas. 2) Mobile applications and digital tools: Teachers and students use mobile applications, interactive tools, and virtual labs to make the learning process easier and more effective. 3) Inclusive education: Digital technologies enable people with special needs to receive an education. In conclusion, she added that digital technologies have opened up new opportunities for quality education and have become a powerful tool for raising the level of education in society, and one of the main tasks for Kazakhstan on this path is to improve infrastructure, reduce digital inequality, and develop educational platforms.
