Historical and Educational Excursion «The Hero’s Name Lives in the Nation’s Memory»

In honor of the 115th anniversary of the birth of Hero of the Soviet Union, outstanding writer, and renowned military commander Bauyrzhan Momyshuly (1910–1982), the students of the Department of Pre-University Training of the Faculty of Pre-University Education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the historical and educational excursion «The Hero’s Name Lives in the Nation’s Memory.» The event was organized within the framework of SDG 4–11 and dedicated to the life and heroism of the legendary batyr.

The excursion took place in the Park of the 28 Panfilov Guardsmen. The students learned about Bauyrzhan Momyshuly’s military path and literary legacy, and deeply felt the meaning of values such as courage, dignity, patriotism, and loyalty to the Motherland.

During the event, participants honored the memory of the heroes, laid flowers at the Eternal Flame, and took commemorative photographs near the monument.

The purpose of the event was to instill in the younger generation a love for the Motherland, a striving for heroism, honesty, and knowledge through studying the life and feats of the national hero.
