«Kazakhstan’s Domestic Policy: New Principles and Priorities»
On November 18, 2025, within the framework of the “El Tutka” debate club led by Tlepbergenov Orynbasar, we held an in-depth and meaningful discussion dedicated to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the approval of the main principles, values, and directions of Kazakhstan’s internal policy.”
During the session, the participants thoroughly examined the key provisions of the document. Special focus was placed on:
• the modern understanding of internal policy as a fundamental instrument for the stable development of the state;
• the importance of the 2022 Constitutional Reform, which strengthened the balance of powers and fostered a more just and transparent political system;
• the transition to a new economic model built on market principles, fair competition, and equitable resource distribution;
• the role of social and humanitarian policy — science, education, and culture — as pillars shaping an intellectually advanced nation;
• the impact of global geopolitical, economic, technological, and demographic changes on Kazakhstan;
• the need to reinforce cooperation between the state and society, ensuring effective adaptation to new challenges.
Throughout the discussion, participants emphasized that the core principles of internal policy — justice, transparency, effective governance, civic engagement, and preservation of national identity — carry strategic significance in today’s era.
The session concluded with a shared understanding that the presented document serves as an important conceptual foundation that systematizes Kazakhstan’s course of modernization, strengthens mutual trust between state institutions and society, and provides renewed momentum for the country’s sustainable development.
