Environmental сulture discussed at the student law clinic

     On November 10, 2025, the department of customs, financial and environmental law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a thematic discussion on developing environmental culture as part of a student law clinic.

     The event aimed to expand the knowledge of future lawyers in the field of environmental law, enhance the environmental responsibility of young people, and promote the principles of sustainable development.

     The discussion was attended by the head of the department, doctor of law, professor G.A. Kuanalieva; deputy head of the department of scientific, innovative, and international relations, PhD G.K. Rasheva; deputy head of the department for educational, methodological, and outreach work  A.A. Yesekeyeva; as well as faculty and students of the department.

     The event discussed legal mechanisms for developing environmental culture, measures to prevent environmental violations, and the role of young people in developing environmental awareness in society. Participants noted the importance of combining environmental education work with the activities of the student law clinic.
