On 21 November 2025, the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an event titled “Law and Order,” organized within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16 – “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.”
At the invitation of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, and Labor Law, Police Lieutenant Yerasyl Askhatuly Kungeev, Inspector of the Juvenile Police Unit of the Almaty Region Police Department, Alatau City Police Division, took part in the event as a guest speaker.
During the meeting, participants discussed current issues related to the prevention of juvenile delinquency, the importance of maintaining public order, and the specific features of service in law enforcement agencies. Students actively engaged in the discussion, asked questions, and gained practical insights into the work of police officers.
Such events contribute to enhancing the legal culture of students, fostering civic responsibility, and align with the objectives of SDG 16 aimed at strengthening peace, ensuring justice, and developing effective institutions.
