Assistant Professor, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, A. A. Kabidoldanova successfully completed B. the AG World Championship Marathon

On November 2, 2025, in New York City (USA), Dr. Altynai Amanzholovna Kabidoldanova, Assistant Professor and PhD in Physics and Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, successfully finished the AG World Championship marathon (42.195 km) with an impressive time of 3:11:24.

The AG World Championship is an elite competition that brings together top amateur marathoners ranked globally in the World Marathon Majors system.

Dr. Kabidoldanova qualified for the championship thanks to her strong result at the 2024 World Championship in Sydney, Australia.

Her accomplishment contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

• SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles;

• SDG 5 – Gender Equality: highlighting women’s leadership in academia and sports;

• SDG 4 – Quality Education: supporting holistic professional development within the university;
